Well as some of you may know and others may not, Luke was born polydactyl (six toes on each foot), really just an extra piggy that has to go to the market...
He had surgery to remove both toes yesterday morning at Children's Mercy. After a few hours in surgery and a few more in the post op unit, we were discharged. He has casts on his feet up to his knees which are very heavy and make it difficult to be mobile, but Luke does not seam to mind at all!
Last night was rough as he was in some pain, but we were able to take care of that with the pain meds.
Today he is almost back to his old self again!
