He is legally ours forever and ever...

Today was the day!!!! At about 10:00 am Luke became officially America's newest Citizen! It could not have gone better!

I had no idea how emotional it would be. When the Commissioner asked Jason if he promised to love, support and provide for Luke...I teared up! While we always felt like Luke's parents, it hit me that it was official...that we were making an official commitment to be there for him for the rest of our lives...

Luke did okay in the court room, he was missing his morning nap and was very restless. Thank goodness for the toys and grandparents in the room! When he misses a nap he tends to be a bit sensitive. After the formal proceedings were over we could take pictures with the Commissioner and attorney. Luke decided to try and get up to the podium and was not happy when he was not allowed up there! So there were a few tears in the pictures!

Afterwards we took some pictures outside with the grandparents...after all this day would not be possible without them!

Then we went over to Crown Center for some lunch at Fritz's! We had never been there before and it is so cute! Definitely a place to take boys who love trains! Basically you order your food over a little phone at the booth and then a train comes by and drops your food off at your table!

On the way home it took two seconds before he was out cold in the car!

We love our little man so much and we are so thankful to have him as our son!
