Please don't tell me that we are going to have to buy him real ones someday!!!!
But right now...I think he is pretty content to make his own set...
The funny part of this story is that Grandma was going to throw away/give away the cookie tins in a garage sale. But as we were leaving their house today Luke picked them up and wanted to take them home (specifically for this we suspect, as he lined up all of his "drums".). He kept saying "hit, hit, hiiiittt" (those of you that watch Yo Gabba Gabba might know the song I am referring too! Notice he doesn't have any drum sticks. The real "drum" you see there (ya know with the green crayon art work on it) did come with them as a gift. We took them away as it was kinda dangerous! So he is making due with some foam wood blocks.
He is resourceful!!
