Developmental Pediatrician Part Two

So today was our "follow up" visit with the developmental pediatrician we started seeing last August for Luke. If you weren't following back them, you can read more about our visit here. The anxiety on my end was not NEAR what it was 6 months ago. As I have said before Luke has really made some strides over the past 6 months; however we know that he is not "there" yet in terms of his development with speech and other areas.
Once again, I have nothing but great things to say about our doctor (and NOT because of the report he gave us). He really liked what he saw in terms of Luke's attachment to us and noted his gains in speech as well. He did say that it is behind and still could be possible apraxia with a combination of motor planning issues, but all in all he is not too significantly behind. While Luke's anxiety levels have dropped significantly he wants us to keep an eye on him, to make sure we don't have any regression over the next several months. He encouraged us to continue what we are doing with attachment parenting and while it can be hard, he promised we would never regret it. All in all we see it as a good visit and he will see us again in 6 months!

...Are you ready for the best words EVER....

Last night when we were going to sleep Luke said the following:
"Dada? I Wove Woo! Nite Nite!"...."Mommy, I Wove Woo! Nite Nite!"
