First off we had a some special visitors come in town last Sunday. Aunt Aimee and Uncle Mark (aka Uncle Red Beard) came to spend the week at home. Last time Aimee was here it was Easter, so it was a long over due visit! Still hoping and praying that she can come back for Christmas.
Last Sunday we had an early Thanksgiving dinner with Jason's dad's side of the family. Of course it was super yummy and put us in the mood for dinner this week. Dinner was missing a few very special cousins...however they had GREAT excuses!
The day before Matt and Neomi welcomed baby Grace Marie into the world! Everyone is happy and healthy and we could not be any more happy for the two of them!
Also, Steve and Emily were not present as they live in Omaha and are not allowed to travel as she is due any moment now too! Steve and Emily were there for us when we made the journey to Omaha to pick up Luke on that special day almost a year ago. Thanks to them, we will always and forever have pictures and videos! We also can't wait to meet their baby girl!
On Thursday we had a delicious Turkey with many many sides at my folks house. Aunt Shanney is due at the first of the year, so we are all anxious to meet baby Katie!
On Saturday our good friends The Goodwins' came in town to visit us from St. Louis. They have yet to meet Luke, but were a big support system for us durring our journey to him!
Luke loved playing with their little girls and also loved his new firetruck from them...such a boy!
Santa also payed a visit in our neighborhood this weekend. Luke was none to happy to see him...
