This weekend we celebrated Chuseok, the Korean Thanksgiving Holiday, with the Korean American Society of KC. It was awesome! Everyone was so welcoming to us and we even made some new friends who have offered to help us introduce the Korean culture in our family. What an awesome resource for our family and our son!
The event included a large quantity of food, Korean games, dancing and Tae-kwondo.
Luke was VERY SLEEPY and took a good nap for the ride home.
That night Jason, Luke and I went to dinner at some friends house. Well there was a nasty storm brewing producing baseball sized hail (yes you heard me right) heading right for our house. So we decided to stick around at home for a while and let it pass so we would not get caught in it.
We had a great time as we usually do, however on our way home we got caught in round two of the storm...
Check out the size of the hail...
We are lucky as we had no damage to our car, but that was one of the worst storms we have ever scene!
