(this is totally out of order, but I need to update everyone on where we are at!
and yes, I do believe awesomer to be a word)
AWESOME!
Thursday Luke had his follow up with the developmental pediatrician and he had nothing but great things to say about our handsome young man.
He was impressed with his language and feels that Luke is going to benefit greatly from our local school districts early childhood program.
He gave us great tips on how to handle the up and coming transitions in Luke's life (new school and a new family member to name a few), and said to call him ASAP if we have any concerns or issues when she comes home.
AWESOMER!
Wednesday we were notified of Leah's Emigration Permit approval!
Talk about an answer to our prayers!
Soooo...
Whats next you ask?
Basically we are now waiting on word when her Visa Physical will be.
The Visa Physical is one part of the a few tiny pieces of paperwork needed before she comes home!
Basically an outside physician reviews her and gives her a good once over to make sure we are aware of her medical conditions.
If there is something noted, then we will sign what is called a "class b waiver" documenting that we are aware of this issue.
Without knowing when this is gonna happen or take place, its difficult for us to get too excited (even though we are!), and plan for when we can expect to hop on the next flight to Korea.
(once we get this scheduled, it could be anywhere around 2-6 weeks)
Sooo...
What are we gonna do with ourselves for the next week while we wait for more information?
Keep on collecting lots of this!
I have posted before about the need for rice cereal and diaper rash cream in Korea.
The above picture was taken two weeks ago, we have since added to it!
Many people have asked what they can do to help!
Please! Next time your at the grocery store or market...it will cost you $7.00 to pick up a box of each and send it my way!
That is Awesome and Awesomer!!! Korea is gorgeous in September. The weather is perfect. Perhaps we'll be overseas at the same time...me in India, and you in Korea. Can't wait!
