This might be the number 2 question I get on a daily basis.
Seriously, doesn't bother me a bit!
In fact, no questions have ever bothered me about my kids....seriously ask away strangers!
The more we can share about adoption (within reason of course), the better.
So after the "where are they from"? then follows the "north or south Korea" question.
The answer is always the same: South Korea! (insert pride here!)
But the reality is just few miles north of where my children were born are many children who are starving, without homes, no parents, and a very bleak future.
Adoption is not an option for children currently living in North Korea.
Adoption is not an option for children currently living in North Korea.
It breaks my heart.
And unfortunately unless things change dramatically soon (please leave all political comments off my blog-thankyouverymuch)...well you can only guess how its only going to get worse.
However, there is a dim light of hope for many children who are classified as refuges living in other countries who have somehow managed to escape North Korea.
Currently there is a bill in Congress that would allow these children to be adopted by Americans.
Please take a few minutes and watch this video and follow the instructions...
